Birds eye view
What does non-human life make of we humans and our dystopian consumer culture? Finding these marks made by birds resting at the edge of the lake brings these thoughts to mind.
The birds are unaware of the art they have made on the rock but their marks have meaning to me - two figures look out across the lake. Is this how we are to the birds?
Our human centric focus has become so myopic it allows us to care only for a few close friends and family, hardly ever considering the wider community, the rest of humanity and rarely considering in our daily lives the living world on which we rely.
Would a bird’s eye view help us see the world we make in a different way?
If birds made art what might we learn from it?
