Earth to Earth book launched

The community in Wanaka turned out in their numbers to the launch of our book Earth to Earth at the Edgewater Resort, Lake Wanaka and for the occasion we made a semi permanent work. The sculpture was constructed on a steel frame using the prunings of the massive poplar trees that have naturalised in our landscape especially near the rivers and lakes. Though we usually prefer to work with native plants these trees have become part of Wanaka's beautiful landscape.
