International exhibitions became our way to show our work to a wide audience across diverse cultures
When we began making and publishing our land art photographs we did not set out to exhibit in galleries, but after the 2008 financial collapse we began focusing on creating bodies of researched work as projects, rather than individual sculptures.
Researching and working on projects that lead to the creation of a body of work based on a subject or theme, has resulted in invitations to exhibit both in New Zealand and internationally in recent years.
This has become a preferred way of working because it results in a coherent series of works and enables the underlying inspiration behind the work to be expressed more thoroughly.
